The following photos show a Model 300MX being installed in a 8' bed. This is the basic
procedure for installing all models. Some units are partially disassembled to reduce weight
for ease of installation.
The inital installation takes about 45 minutes including connecting the power wire to the
battery. Removal takes less than 5 minutes and it can be reinstalled in less than 10 minutes.

Remove the tailgate on an 8 ft.
bed and install the rear mounting bracket as shown. See photos at the end of this sequence for short bed installations and for the LX Models that allow the tailgate to remain in place and functional. |
Position the TK Loader behind the pickup & use the handheld remote to extend the loader to
the full out position. The internial battery on this model allows the
unit to operate in & out of the vehicle. |

Carefully lift the forward end of
the loader & place the cross-member on the end of the
pickup bed as shown |
Move to the rear of the loader
and carefully lift to the horizontal position. |
Slide the loader forward until
the lower frame comes in contact with the front of the pickup bed. |
Using the handheld remote,
retract the top deck to the full
in position. |

Center the loader on the
pickup bed and attach the
rear mounting bracket using
a 3/4" wrench as shown |

Attach the forward braces to the side of the loader frame and position under the lip of the bed. Make certain that the forward
end of the TK Loader is centered
in the truck bed. Either measure from side to side or compare to
the seams in the bottom of the
truck bed. |
Connect the power cord to the vehicle battery (or cigarette lighter/power point if equipped with an internal battery). This cord may be run through the rear sliding window if available or it may be passed through the driver's door while allowing the door to close as normal. The rubber seal in the door will not harm the cord as the door closes. |
